Charrette Workshop
The charrette process was a great way for people to get involved in planning for growth and change in El Portal Without a clear, community-supported vision for the area, the conventional approach to the public approval of projects usually results in a parcel-by-parcel decision-making process, where changes and exceptions to existing land use and zoning regulations occur on a piecemeal basis. Come and see the results of the 2013 Community Design Charrette, find out what it means for the future of the Village, and learn what the next steps are. Help us prioritize our code changes and plan new parks. Help plan El Portal’s Future!
